Delicious breakfasts with a view
Waking up each morning to the aroma of freshly baked goods was a delight. The cozy atmosphere and friendly hosts made us feel at home right away.
However, the thin walls made nighttime a little noisy, especially with neighbors coming and going. An information sheet in the room would have been helpful.

Positive, The location was perfect for exploring the Dingle Peninsula. Our room was clean and pretty, with a lovely view of the fields. Breakfast offered plenty of delicious hot options and homemade treats. The hosts were cute and provided great local tips. It was a fantastic experience!

Had a lovely three-night stay where we enjoyed a delicious dinner just around the corner and took in the breathtaking scenery at Sleigh Head Drive. The garden was a perfect spot to unwind, and the cozy lounge area was great for relaxing after our adventures. It would have been nice to have some info in the room about breakfast hours, but overall, it was a fantastic experience! 🌼

We had a fantastic stay at this charming farmhouse, perfect for family adventures. The rooms were spacious and cosy, and the breakfast spread was impressive, with several options to choose from, ensuring everyone, even our teenage daughter, found something she loved. We enjoyed exploring the scenic local walks, which offered stunning views of the coastline.

The stay felt cozy due to the friendly staff and the pleasant rural setting, with cows just outside the window. Breakfast had a great selection, and the organic options were a nice touch. However, the thin walls made it difficult to enjoy peace, as noise from the upstairs was quite intrusive. Also, the lack of screens on the windows resulted in unwelcome bugs in the bathroom, and despite being listed as a B&B, breakfast came at an extra cost.

This was just a prime choice for a mini-break over the weekend in Castlemaine with attractive and competitive value for money. The kitchen was well-equipped, and all appliances worked very well, making it easy to prep snacks. Bring a shower mat, as it would come in handy in the bathroom.

my stay at murphys farmhouse b&b was delightful! the location is perfect, just a short drive to dingle and near breathtaking sleigh head drive. the friendly staff was a highlight, and the breakfast was delicious every morning, really setting us up for our adventures. having free parking was a plus, even if it got a bit tight sometimes.
